Metro Saathi ("the app") is an independent, unofficial companion app for Delhi NCR metro commuters, developed by Mukesh Kumar. This policy explains what data the app handles.
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. The app has no account system, no login, and no user registration of any kind.
The app does not save any personal data to your device either — all station, fare, line, tourist-guide and tips content is bundled inside the app itself and works fully offline.
The app requests the INTERNET permission for one purpose only: the "Phase 4 Metro" screen checks a public read-only web address for the latest news about upcoming metro corridors. No information about you, your device, or your usage is sent in this request — it is a simple one-way content fetch. If there is no internet connection, the app falls back to its built-in offline information automatically.
The app does not use analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs that collect personal data. The only outgoing network request is the read-only metro-news check described above.
The app does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a new "Last updated" date.
